genetic testing/ Molecular diagnostics
Hill Scientific will be doing Genetic Testing on Food Industry, Medical/Clinical, Water & Environmental etc....
1. For the Food Industry
- Focus: Pathogen detection, spoilage organisms, and supply chain safety.
We operate an in-house Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) system for rapid, accurate molecular detection of foodborne pathogens and spoilage markers. All assays will be validated according to AOAC or FDA Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM) standards to ensure the highest level of food safety and supply chain traceability.
2. For the Medical / Diagnostic Sector
- Focus: Compliance with clinical laboratory regulations (e.g., CLIA) and assay validation.
We utilize a state-of-the-art PCR platform that will support medical and clinical research diagnostics. Our testing protocols governed by stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to meet analytical sensitivity and specificity benchmarks.
3. For the Water Industry
- Focus: EPA compliance, drinking water safety, and environmental monitoring, Legionella
Using our recently acquired PCR system, we conduct molecular testing for microbial contamination in water supplies. Our testing methodologies target specific biological indicators and are designed to yield the high-quality, defensible data required to meet U.S. EPA compliance standards.
4. For Environmental Monitoring
- Focus: Soil quality, bioaerosols, and industrial environmental tracking.
Our facility is equipped with PCR technology to conduct comprehensive environmental testing. This allows us to perform rapid bio-surveillance and identify ecological hazards in soil, surface water, and facility environments.
